The Venice Film Festival will go ahead as planned in early September. Luca Zaia, the governor of the region around the Italian city, reported this to the Reuters news agency.
However, the festival will probably be attended by fewer people from the film industry, according to Governor Zaia, who is also a board member of organizer Biennale di Venezia.
