The Dutch author, screenwriter, director and producer Walter Goverde passed away last week in his hometown of Baarn at the age of 67. Goverde was born in Den Helder. He received the international jury prize in Lausanne for his drama series De Sprookjeskast. As a television director and screenwriter, he worked for Ik Mik Loreland and the series Knoop in je Zakdoek and Het Klokhuis. With his production company Odyssee he made, among other things, the integration film Naar Nederland.
