Beginning and experienced animation filmmakers are invited to participate together with a producer in Ultrakort 2025, a competition aimed at creating ultra-short animated films of up to 2 minutes. The initiative, supported by the Film Fund, aims to stimulate the development of Dutch animation talent and reach a broad and diverse audience. Five winning films will be shown as support for major films in Vue cinemas and Dutch Film Theaters in the autumn of 2025. The selected projects will receive a maximum of €70,000 for their realization. Applications must be submitted before 5:00 PM on Monday, September 30.
