Maral Mohsenin will be the new Director of Collection & Knowledge Sharing at Eye as of 1 February 2025, succeeding Giovanna Fossati. Mohsenin, born in Tehran in 1988, has a background in the restoration and conservation of film heritage and film programming. She was previously Head of Programs at the Geneva International Film Festival and worked as a film restorer and curator at the Cinémathèque Suisse. She is also a university lecturer in Lausanne and has a PhD in film science. With her appointment, Eye's management has been completely renewed.
