Dertig jaar Dogma 95'
In 1995, Lars von Trier and Thomas Vinterberg presented the Dogme 95 manifesto at a conference in Paris. Created as a reaction against superficial and predictable films, the manifesto introduced strict rules such as the use of natural light and handheld cameras, and banned music and genre films. The aim was to create a more authentic cinema by imposing self-imposed restrictions on filmmakers. Dogme 95, which also embraced the digital revolution, advocated a more sober approach to filmmaking, aimed at revealing truth.
