Taskovski Films has acquired the documentary "The Shipwrecked" by Mexican-Dutch filmmaker Diego Gutiérrez. The film will have its world premiere at IDFA in international competition. "The Shipwrecked" follows a disillusioned filmmaker who returns to Mexico and explores the stories of ordinary people in extraordinary situations. The film highlights small acts of courage and resilience in a country grappling with inequality, corruption, and climate change. The film is distributed by Cinema Delicatessen and supported by the Netherlands Film Fund and CoBO Fund.
