The 33rd African Diaspora International Film Festival (ADIFF NYC), running from November 28 to December 14, honors Dutch Caribbean filmmaker Félix de Rooy with a special retrospective titled "Spotlight on Caribbean Cinema – Félix de Rooy." Sponsored by the Consulate General of the Netherlands in New York, this program highlights De Rooy's influential films that explore themes of race, identity, and queerness in the Dutch Caribbean. Films such as "Ava & Gabriel: A Love Story" and "Nomad in No Man's Land" will be screened, followed by a panel discussion.
