Photographer and filmmaker Paul de Nooijer has died at the age of 82. He was known for his photomontages, staged photographs, and films with a humorous and surreal style. Together with his son Menno, also a photographer, he formed a successful duo. Their work is internationally recognized and can be found in various museums. One of their well-known works is the film "Stripshow 1850." Paul de Nooijer had been ill for some time and was recently involved in the documentary "Het laatste kunstje" (The Last Art) by Jacomien Kodde.
