The Sinterklaas Journal has won the 2025 Machiavelli Prize for its role as a unifying force in Dutch society for 25 years. The program, presented by Merel Westrik since 2023, is praised for its annual impact, social sensitivity, and ability to communicate on multiple levels. The prize recognizes excellence in public communication and consists of a bronze statuette of Niccolò Machiavelli. Previous winners include Saskia Belleman and Queen Máxima.
