Teodora Ana Mihai's film "Heysel 85" will have its world premiere at the 76th Berlinale, where Flanders is strongly represented. Violet Braeckman, the lead actress in "Heysel 85," has been selected as the European Shooting Star 2026. Other Flemish projects at the festival include "The Other Side of the Sun" by Tawfik Sabouni, "A Family" by Mees Peijnenburg, and "Henry is a Girl Who Likes to Sleep" by Marthe Peters. Frederike Migom's "Tegennieuwg heeft iedereen Sorry," based on a book by Bart Moeyaert, will also have its world premiere.
