Iranian-Dutch filmmaker Sara Rajaei's short film "City of Poets" has won the European Short Film – Vimeo Prize 2026. The film, produced by Manon Bovenkerk, premiered at the Berlinale Shorts Competition and screened at various international festivals. Through personal archive footage, "City of Poets" tells the story of a semi-utopian city where every street is named after a poet. The film previously won the Golden Calf for Best Short Documentary at the Netherlands Film Festival 2024.
