The collaboration between eight European public broadcasters within the New8 consortium has been extended for three years. This was announced during the TV Drama Vision event in Gothenburg. New8, which comprises broadcasters such as NPO, SVT, and ZDF, has produced successful European co-productions such as the series "Elixer" and "Other People's Money." The collaboration has led to increased reach and impact of drama series in Europe. NPO Chairman Jet de Ranitz emphasized the win-win situation for public broadcasters through this partnership.
