Films from the Displacement Film Fund were screened at the International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) 2026. This fund, established to support filmmakers displaced by war or oppression, presented works by Hasan Kattan, Maryna Er Gorbach, Mohamed Rasoulof, Mo Harawe, and Shahrbanoo Sadat. Kattan's film "Allies in Exile" explores the wait in a London asylum seekers' hotel. Cate Blanchett announced that the fund will again award five grants of €100,000. The films range from personal documentaries to fictional stories of displacement.
