The winners of the Tiger Short Competition were announced at the International Film Festival Rotterdam 2026. The prizes went to The Second Skin by Mariia Palipdus, The Apple Doesn't Fall… by Dean Wei, and Ndjimu by Petna Ndaliko Katondolo, each receiving €5,000. Dean Wei also won the KNF Award. The short film Cul-de-sac! by Clyde Gates and Gabriel Sanson was nominated for the European Short Film Awards. The jury consisted of Sammy Baloji, Anka Gujabidze, and Jukka-Pekka Laakso.
