"Variations on a Theme," directed by Jason Jacobs and Devon Delmar, won the Tiger Award at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. The film, about South African goatherd Ouma Hettie, was praised for its "profound poetic language." Two Special Jury Prizes went to "La Belle Année" by Angelica Ruffier and "Supporting Role" by Ana Urushadze, who also received a FIPRESCI Award. The Big Screen Competition was won by "Master" by Rezwan Shahriar Sumit. The festival took place from January 29 to February 8.
