Hungarian director Ildikó Enyedi's film "Silent Friend" won Best Film in the LOOK! competition at the Ostend Film Festival. The film, which follows several generations around a ginkgo tree, was praised for its visual style and emotional depth. The jury, chaired by Gilles Coulier, appreciated the way nature and science are interwoven in the story. "Silent Friend" opens in theaters on April 1, and the distributor will also receive a €10,000 prize.
