At the 76th Berlinale, İlker Çatak's film "Gelbe Briefe" won the Golden Bear. This film, which explores the political role of artists, is set in Turkey under Erdoğan. Sandra Hüller won the award for Best Lead Actress in "Rose," and Lance Hammer's "Queen at Sea" won several awards, including the Jury Prize. The documentary "Yo (Love is a Rebellious Bird)" by Anna Fitch and Banker White received the Silver Bear for Outstanding Artistic Contribution. Emin Alper received the Grand Jury Prize for "Salvation (Kurtuluş)."
