WGA publiceert eisenpakket voor AMPTP-onderhandelingen'
The WGA has published its bargaining demands for new contract negotiations with the AMPTP, which begin on March 16 before the current contract expires on May 1. 97.4% of voting members approved the demands. The guild seeks higher pension contributions, improved compensation and residuals, including comprehensive AI protections, higher minimum rates for "page one" rewrites, and increased streaming residuals, while also including protections against unpaid work and stricter regulation of screen roundtables. Meanwhile, 82% of the Writers Guild Staff Union voted to call a walkout due to allegations of unfair bargaining by guild management.
