Documentairefilm schittert in al zijn diversiteit bij Cinéma du réel'
The 48th Cinéma du réel, taking place from March 21st to 28th in three Parisian theaters during the renovation of the Centre Pompidou, presents 37 competition films, including 20 world premieres. Lucrecia Martel opens the evening with Landmarks, and the festival also pays tribute to the late Frederick Wiseman. The five-member jury, including José Luis Guerín and Bani Khoshnoudi, will judge feature films such as Peter Treherne's Matter of Britain, Sebastian Brameshuber's London, and René Ballesteros' Landless Children. The pre-screening section also includes works by Alain Gomis, Rithy Panh, and Patric Chiha. ParisDOC will highlight six films in post-production and nine projects in development.
