Videoland and Millstreet are developing the spin-off Mabel & Margarita, which will feature the entire cast of the Máxima series, including Elsie de Brauw, Claire Bender, Martijn Lakemeier, Delfina Chaves, Steef de Bot, and Abbey Hoes. Bender, who plays Princess Mabel in both the second season of Máxima and the spin-off, has indicated that she wants to delve deeper into her character because the series focuses more closely on Mabel's life. The production will focus on the lives of Mabel Wisse Smit and Princess Margarita after 1999, and preparations are currently in full swing.
