Norway has introduced national guidelines for filming intimate scenes, with Caroline Roka, together with Camilla Glaister and Catrin Sagen, developing the framework that aims for safer and more transparent working conditions on set without restricting artistic freedom. The guidelines, presented on March 11 in Oslo, address scenes involving nudity, simulated sex, or emotionally heavy material, while aligning with similar frameworks already introduced by Finland in 2020 and Sweden in 2022. According to Roka, clear national standards provide guidance to all involved, from performers to producers, regarding mutual expectations and strengthen the professional environment of the Norwegian film industry.
