In the Netherlands, broadcaster funding for documentaries has already fallen by 20%, while territorial rights structures hinder international sales, as Dalsgaard illustrated with his Sundance series The Oligarch and the Art Dealer. Truyen advocated for shared responsibility among all stakeholders at a single joint documentary table, similar to how Creative Europe, Eurimages, and the EBU already pool their resources for fiction series.
