De Visser-Neerlandiaprijs – Ontleding van een anonieme wedstrijd'
Since 2012, the Algemeen-Nederlands Verbond has annually awarded the Visser-Neerlandia Prize for Screenplay, a free competition for upcoming Dutch-language feature films in which submissions are judged anonymously, in accordance with the wishes of the testator Herman Visser. A jury of five peers reads the scripts in multiple rounds, where clear character development and a strong opening page are decisive, while all entrants receive written feedback. The winner receives 7,500 euros, and three winning screenplays have led to a film adaptation, including *Rokjesdag* by Eveline Hagenbeek. The most recent winning script is *Krimp* by Bert Bouma.
