Britt Dekker starts shooting Racing Johnny this spring, her third horse film following Whitestar and Silverstar, directed by Eva Leysen with a screenplay by Michiel Peereboom. The family story follows former racing talent Hailey, who works as a veterinarian until her niece Mila discovers a neglected horse at a shady dealer, after which both are drawn back into the equestrian world. Dekker stars in the lead role and serves as Creative Producer, while her own horses, Johnny and George, will also appear. Dutch FilmWorks will release the film in 2027.
