Ook voorzitter Raad van Toezicht weg bij Eye'
Marc van Warmerdam has stepped down as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Eye with immediate effect. Anneke de Vries has taken over his position, and editor Job ter Burg will join as a new Supervisory Board member effective April 7. His departure coincides with growing unrest among employees, who have drafted an urgent letter demanding a reconstruction of the financial crisis that led to cuts of 30 FTEs, 15 percent fewer screenings, and the discontinuation of the Eye Art & Film Prize, as they seek to determine how the structural deficit of €2.25 million arose following the resignation of Executive Director Bregtje van der Haak.
