Prijswinnaars Go Short 2026'
During the 18th edition of Go Short in Nijmegen, the Go Short Awards were presented, serving as a stepping stone to the Oscars, BAFTA, and European Film Awards. In the Dutch competition, Albert Kuhn won the top prize with **Dreams for a Better Past**, in which he explores transgenerational trauma through photos, letters, and home videos. **Blue Heart** by Samuel Suffren won Best European Fiction Film, while Marie Lukacova received the student award for **Orla**. The European Film Awards nominee was **L'mina** by Randa Maroufi. The music video award went to **Béla Tarr** by Jakob Ladanyi Jancsó, with the audience naming **Oxygen** by artist collective Vanessa as the winner of the audience award.
