As of May 1, Simone van den Broek will take over the interim position of Team Head Feature Film & Documentary at the Film Fund, as Iwana Chronis takes office as Managing Director. Van den Broek will be responsible for the artistic and substantive assessment of film applications in both categories, a role she will fulfill until March 2027 to ensure continuity while recruitment for a permanent team head begins after the summer. She brings extensive experience as a producer of Golden Calf-winning documentaries, including *De Regels van Matthijs*, and completed her term as Documentary Film Consultant at the Fund earlier this year.
