On Monday evening, April 13, the 2025 Silver Curl Awards were presented at Cinema The Pulse, where the prizes were awarded by members of the Network of Screenwriters of the Dutch Authors' Association. Mike van Diem won the award for best film screenplay and the 2025 Golden Pen for *Voor de meisjes*, which attracted 317,000 cinema visitors. Eva Crutzen received the award for best TV series screenplay for the second season of *Bodem 2*, while Marc Veerkamp and Tingue Dongelmans won the Curl Award for best short screenplay for the children's film *Pol de Piratenmuis en het verdwenen schip*, which appeared on NPO Start.
