The Chinese streaming platform iQIYI launched an "artist database" through which more than a hundred actors are making their likeness available to creators of AI-generated content via the new tool Nadou Pro, which allows users to generate and edit short films. Legal expert Li Zhenwu warned that once deployed, image data is technically difficult to control due to risks such as unauthorized retraining of models.
