During the Producer on the Move event in Cannes, Olivia Sophie van Leeuwen, MD of 100% Film, represents the Netherlands with the documentary project The Woman Who Made Van Gogh Famous, directed by Willemiek Kluijfhout, which tells the story of Jo van Gogh-Bonger, who guarded Vincent's legacy after his death but nevertheless disappeared from history. The film combines Jo's diary excerpts and letters as voice-over with contemporary female narrators who create their own visual material through an actress; these are not historical reconstructions but tactile, recognizable images. Ruby Deelen co-produces the project, while Van Leeuwen's most recent film, Grace, is currently in post-production.
