On Thursday, May 28, NFF Extended is organizing a program on mental health in the film industry, in which moderator Winnie Roseval brings together speakers such as Hanna Verboom, Anne de Clercq, Anna de Beus, and Rosan Boersma to explore why psychological well-being is receiving increasing attention, both in the workplace and in film narratives. The program, produced in collaboration with Dutch Academy For Film, Eye, FilmForward, and Cinemind, raises questions about the structural pressure within the sector and whether this increased attention is lasting, while taking center stage the film sector's unique position to deepen the societal conversation about mental health.
