Sandra Wollner's Everytime won the top prize in the Un Certain Regard category at the 79th Cannes Film Festival, where the jury was chaired by Leïla Bekhti. The Jury Prize went to Elephants in the Fog by Abinash Bikram Shah, while Iron Boy by Louis Clichy received a Special Jury Prize. Marina de Tavira, Daniela Marín Navarro, and Mariangel Villegas jointly won the Best Actress Award for their performances in Forever Your Maternal Animal by Valentina Maurel, as the jury deemed their collective performance particularly rewardable. Bradley Fiomona Dembeasset won Best Actor for his role in Congo Boy by Rafiki Fariala.
