Filming for *La Foudre*, the tenth feature film by brothers Arnaud and Jean-Marie Larrieu, began on May 27 in Mont-de-Marsan and continues until July 10 in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, including the Ossau Valley. The cast includes Hafsia Herzi, Arieh Worthalter, Sara Giraudeau, and Francesco Carril, while the cinematography is by Irina Lubtchansky. The film, a loose adaptation of the novel of the same name by Pierric Bailly, follows Jeanne, a shepherdess who becomes involved in a passionate affair after her friend Vickie is accused of murder. Nord-Ouest Films is producing, Lucky Number is handling international sales, and Pyramide Distribution is responsible for the French theatrical release.
