At the Skjaldborg Documentary Film Festival, which celebrated its 19th edition in the Icelandic fishing village of Patreksfjörður, the winners were announced after four days of screenings and panels. The Grand Jury Prize for Best Feature Documentary went to Return by Helgi Felixson and Titti Johnson, which follows the story of Mike Årsjö, a Chilean-born and Papua New Guinean-raised artist who confronts his two worlds. Plomb Culture by Línette won the Jury Prize for Best Short Film, in which the film explores mass tourism in Iceland through the form of a vintage sex education film. Amongst the Birds by Mika Kaurismäki, Ragnar Axelsson, and Ingvar Þórðarson received the Audience Award.
