In the new round of Oase, the collaboration between the Netherlands Film Fund and the Culture Fund that launched in 2013, seven documentary filmmakers have been selected, including director Isabel Muruzábal Lamberti, who each receive a development grant of €50,000 for their projects. The program encourages research into film ideas and the development of an initial film plan, allowing the filmmaker to subsequently work with a producer on further development and potential realization. The contribution from the Culture Fund comes from the Mady Saks Fund, which was established by the filmmaker who passed away in 2006. A new application round will follow in 2027.
