Future Frames – Generation NEXT of European Cinema returns to the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (July 3–11) with ten selected European film school graduates whose short films will be screened during the festival. The participants, nominated by national film institutes and selected by Artistic Director Karel Och, will take part in industry meetings and networking events. Allwyn, the new main partnership, awards one participant a month-long scholarship in Los Angeles, with the selection made by a jury of Range Media Partners and United Talent Agency. Additionally, a new partnership with Les Arcs Film Festival offers one filmmaker a wildcard for the Industry Village program in December.
