Prijsuitreiker gezocht voor CAMEO Award gala 2023!

For the upcoming edition of the European Film Union gala 2023, we are looking for enthusiastic filmmaker, director, producer, etc. to present one of the CAMEO Awards. This year the gala will be organized on December 17 in Tolbert (Groningen). The gala starts around 7:00 PM with the actual awards from 8:30 PM - 11:00 PM. In addition to the announcements of the CAMEO Award winners, the evening will be filled with various acts, a big band, moments for networking and of course the traditional red carpet. A total of 150 international filmmakers are expected, from England to Sweden and from Australia to Canada.

Would you like to present one of the CAMEO Awards? Then we are looking for you! A total of 11 CAMEO Awards will be presented, ranging from 'Best Short Film' to 'Best Color-Grading'. Some awards are presented by former winners, the jury or the presenter of the evening, but we also want to offer this opportunity to some filmmakers from the Netherlands. When the award is announced, the presenter of the evening will ask you to the stage where, after a short introduction (short anecdote, what makes this category special for you, etc.), you can open the envelope ('The CAMEO Award 2023 for Best...... goes to....) and can hand over the trophy to the winner.

Periode
17 December 2023 in Tolbert (Groningen). Entree tot het gala is van 18:30 - 19:00 met openingsreceptie tot 20:00. Het daadwerkelijke gala is vervolgens van 20:00 - 23:00.

Functie eisen / profiel
Het is belangrijk dat je affiniteit hebt met het film vak, maar of je nu regisseur, producent of recensent bent maakt daarin niet uit. 90% van de gasten komt uit het buitenland en het gala is daarom Engelstalig. Het uitreiken van de award moet daarom dus ook in het Engels.

Wat bieden wij?
Het uitreiken van een CAMEO Award is niet alleen een eervolle functie maar ook mooie kans om te kunnen netwerken met veel internationale filmmakers. De eventuele reiskosten naar het gala worden uiteraard vergoed. In samenwerking met het Mercure hotel in Groningen is er desgewenst de mogelijkheid hier te overnachten met een speciale korting als gast van het gala.
