Cast gezocht voor feature horrorfilm

Diabolic is a psychological horror film and revolves around Jessica, a woman who grew up with a mother with serious psychological problems. When Jessica, as an adult, slowly but surely develops the same problems as her mother, she begins to suspect that a dark entity is after her. Slowly but surely, Jessica thinks she can unravel the mystery of her past, but is there really something supernatural hunting her or is Jessica suffering from delusions?

Diabolic is our second feature film and it promises to be a blood-curdling horror film that has never been made in the Netherlands. We are an independent Dutch production company and know how to make long feature films with few (financial) resources that find an international audience. The first recording period of Diabolisch will take place in January 2024 and we are still looking for actors and actresses who can perform the following roles:

Anna (young woman of approximately 18 years old) - Anna is Jessica's daughter and is around 18 in the film. Despite the fact that her parents are divorced, she has a fairly carefree life and a good relationship with her mother. The moment Anna's mother slowly but surely starts to turn around, she starts to worry about her mother's well-being. For this role we are looking for an actress who is verbally good but who can also do a lot with her facial expressions and emotions, especially fear and sadness are a number of important emotions that should be well reflected in the film. Anna's role will take 9 to 10 days in total, of which we want to perform 5 days in January.

David (man about 45 years old) - David is Jessica's ex-husband and Anna's father. Although David is divorced from Jessica, he still has good but superficial contact with her, mainly through his daughter. David is the type of man who will do anything for his daughter and ensure that she has a good life. When David finds out that Anna's mother is no longer herself, he starts to worry and tries to help his ex. The role has the necessary text and will take about 2 to 4 days in total, we want to film 2 days of this in January.

Neighbor (woman aged approximately 60) - Jessica's friendly neighbor who cares about her when strange things happen at home. It is a small role for which we are looking for someone with a friendly appearance. The shooting for this role takes a few hours in the evening and we want to shoot this in January.

Police officers (men or women aged approximately 35) - Police officers who come by after a report from Jessica. Have a professional appearance. These are two small roles, the shoot of which takes a few hours in the evening, which takes place in January.

Do you not fit the profile of the above roles? We also need actors for our other recording periods in February, March and April! These are briefly described below:

Eline (woman around 40) - Best friend of Jessica, 1.5 shooting days (including evening shooting)
Arnout (man around 50) - Jessica's colleague, works in an administration office, 1 to 2 shooting days including a night shoot
Sharon (woman around 30) - Jessica's colleague, works in an administration office, 1 shooting day (night shoot)
Raymond (man around 70) - Researcher of the occult who tries to live a hermit's life, one and a half shooting days
Michelle (woman in late 30s) - Police detective, 1 day of shooting

Verschillende opnamedagen in de periode januari t/m april, de exacte data overleggen we graag met de acteurs en actrices die we uiteindelijk cast voor de rol.

Wat bieden wij?
We bieden je een percentage van de opbrengsten van de film en we zijn nog bezig met het ophalen van extra financiën om hier ook nog een klein extraatje bovenop te doen, maar dat kunnen we op dit moment niet garanderen. Wat we wel kunnen garanderen is dat de film getoond zal worden aan een (internationaal) publiek en een lang leven zal leiden op verschillende streamingplatforms. Hoeveel dit exact zal opleveren is echter nog door niemand te zeggen.

Vanzelfsprekend wordt er tijdens de opnames goed voor je gezorgd, hebben we lekkere catering en bieden we de credits op IMDb. Heb jij interesse in één van bovenstaande rollen?
