De microfoonset 'hengelt' zeer comfortabel door het geringe gewicht, ook is de boom met microfoon niet erg aanwezig, wat vooral in ENG-situaties erg wordt gewaardeerd.
Het mini tafelstatiefje is mij geregeld van pas gekomen tijdens interviews, ook weer door zijn kleine formaat.
The supercardioid microphone has enhanced directional effect (from low to midrange frequencies) of any first-order pressure gradient transducer. The response 90° off-axis is -10 dB. Also, the polar diagram is consistent at all frequencies, which means that regardless of its direction of origin, sound will be picked up free of unwanted coloration. For this reason, the supercardioid microphone is the preferred type of microphone for dialog recording in film and video sound, particularly indoors.
The Modular Windshield WS 9 Kit offers a unique and highly effective solution for compact condenser microphones requiring wind protection and maximum shock isolation. It completely surrounds the compact microphone, sliding onto the XX-Small Suspension to provide up to 25dB of wind noise attenuation. The wind attenuation performance is equivalent to a Rycote full sized Windshield yet in a much smaller and lighter package – only 170mm x 105mm including end caps.
