Male Talent (acting age 24 - 30)

Short film, approx. 15 minutes, planned to be distributed to Vimeo and Short Film Festivals:

Eddie and Val, childhood best friends who were inseparable between the ages of 10 and 15, have spent years looking back on their time together with fondness and nostalgia. Val moved away due to her parents' work, leaving Eddie behind in the small city they grew up in. Now 27, Val returns to the city for a business trip as a successful financial analyst who has traveled the world and grown into a more open-minded, ambitious person. Eddie, on the other hand, has stayed in the same neighborhood, doing the same things and going to the same places they used to go as teenagers. As the film cuts between their memories of each other, their adventures and moments of youthful rebellion, they fondly recall their friendship and the way things were back then. When they finally reunite however, the clear differences in their lives now create an awkward and painful distance, which shows us how time and life circumstances can reshape even the strongest connections.

Willing to play the role of an adult man stuck in his teenage past, working a minimum wage job while trying to pursue his creative passions.
Able to portray a reminiscent and nostalgic feeling through narration, body language and facial expressions. Additionally able to portray feelings of awkwardness and disconnect in dialogue with another character.

Periode
We are expecting to have 4 days of shooting altogether for the film. This character will only need 3 days of shooting. Our shooting window is from the 13th to the 24th of January, the exact days will be defined subject to availability of actors and locations.
