Crew gezocht voor Willem van Oranje-film

It will be a film of the drama genre and is set entirely in the year 1544, when William left for the Netherlands for the first time as an eleven-year-old.

I have been working on ideas for three high budget films about William of Orange for years. The short film, focused on 1544, is intended as a building block to get more into a position in the long term where I am able to realize the ambitious ideas.

For a short film about William of Orange, I am looking for enthusiastic crew members with whom I can realize this project.

I myself have already been busy with scriptwriting, location scouting, casting and making a preliminary shooting schedule, much of which is still uncertain. Yesterday (28 November) I was shown around two castles in Gelderland, while I was discussing the shoot and its costs. These are locations for the now defunct Dillenburg Castle, where about 95% of the film takes place. Thanks to the consultation I am more aware of how well the film can be realised on a small budget.

However, to have a lot of certainty about such things far in advance, more collaboration with others is inevitable. At the moment, I mainly need to find someone who knows a lot about film production and is willing to invest a lot of time and energy in the project, starting in December (producer, executive producer, production manager/coordinator).
