Casting Call for Final Project: Advertising Powerhouse040

Description:
For my final project at a film school in Eindhoven, I am looking for motivated actors who want to play an important role in a short, powerful commercial. The video revolves around an intimate, emotional father-son relationship and their shared discovery of boxing as a means for self-confidence and connection. The commercial is being made in collaboration with Powerhouse040, a gym in Eindhoven, and will contain a mix of sports, emotion and visual storytelling.

Roles:

Father (30-45 years): A fanatic, energetic man who wants to pass on his passion for boxing to his son. It is important that you can subtly convey emotions and act well non-verbally.
Son (8-12 years): A shy, curious boy discovering himself in the world of boxing. Acting experience is not required, but you must be comfortable in front of the camera.
Boxer (20-35 years): A confident, experienced boxer who encourages the young boy in an inspiring way. You must have boxing skills or be willing to learn them.
Location:
The shootings take place in the Eindhoven region (both a home setting and in the gym).

Shooting days:
Shooting is scheduled for December 15 and 16, 2024, with a maximum shooting duration of two full days.

Compensation:
This is a student project with a limited budget, so unfortunately we cannot offer financial compensation. However, we will provide catering on set and you will receive professional images for your portfolio.
