Are you interested in the process of grieving and the final phase of life?

Attempts to Farewell (www.pogingentotafscheid.nl) is an interactive theatre experience that uses rituals to support saying goodbye before death. We have been active for two years now and perform 4-5 times a year. It is a challenging and intimate performance to play in. Many spectators indicate that they have never experienced anything like it. Our team consists of a flexible group of actors of different ages, from young to old. We attach great value to openness, thinking along and gentleness.

We are looking for an actor aged 70 or older to join our team.

Attempts to Farewell is designed as a 'flexible and modular' piece. This means that not every actor needs to be in every performance and that most actors can play multiple roles. Once you are familiar with the rituals, there is little rehearsal time needed. There is very little text to learn by heart.

You should feel comfortable with:
-strong emotions
-mourning and roughness
-improvisation within the framework of an existing ritual

Periode
We spelen 4-5 keer per jaar, meestal verspreid tussen maart en november. Er is geen vaste begin- of einddatum.

Wat bieden wij?
We proberen €100-€150 per voorstelling aan te bieden, afhankelijk van het aantal toeschouwers.
