We are looking for an (all-round) director to join our team. A director who enjoys working for both large corporates and social organizations and governments. A director who can develop creative concepts and bring productions to an impactful end result.
About us:
Starsound is a creative production agency, based in The Hague, with a focus on making mood films, corporate productions, commercials, registrations, animations and voice-overs.

Who we are looking for:
• You have an impressive portfolio of work for various companies and you have enough experience to be a creative leader. You want to be part of an ambitious and growing organization.
• You have at least 3 years of work experience as a director or as a creative with a focus on concept development and implementation.
• This allows you to independently develop a creative and substantive concept based on a briefing.
• You are a go-getter. If necessary, you will take care of the editing yourself, because you have experience with Adobe Premiere.
• You have an eye for aesthetics and you are bothered by small sloppiness. You look critically at your own work and you set the bar high.
• People say about you that you are directive, in a positive way.
• You can quickly and clearly indicate what actions are expected of the team. With the right feedback you inspire them to make their work even better.
• Furthermore, you are stress-resistant, have strong communication skills and an excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written.
• Last but certainly not least, you are an honest and sincere person. Authentic with your heart in the right place.

Functie eisen / profiel
Werkzaamheden:
• Het bedenken en uitschrijven van concepten, inhoudelijk én creatief, zelfstandig of in nauwe samenwerking met onze Creative Director.
• Het schrijven en/of redigeren van scripts en voice-over teksten.
• Je kunt jouw creatieve concepten overtuigend presenteren, aan ons en onze klanten.
• Het regisseren van draaidagen en aansturen van de crew op locatie of in de studio.
• Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de creatieve output. Je bewaakt het niveau van de creativiteit en de uitvoering van het werk.
• Jij geeft inhoudelijke sturing aan het team van editors en/of animatoren. Je geeft richting en inspireert de organisatie om de creatieve kwaliteit te verhogen.
• Je kunt jouw concepten overtuigend presenteren aan de klant. Je voelt je niet belemmerd om mensen mee te nemen in jouw ‘big idea’. Je bent bezield met de klant en je gelooft in jouw oplossing. Dit kun je in begrijpelijke woorden formuleren.
