For the production of the short film 'Waterval' we are looking for passionate and talented crew members. 'Waterval' is a psychological crime thriller with coming-of-age elements and is produced independently. The film explores themes such as freedom, control and the appeal of risk. The style is raw and dynamic, with a non-linear narrative and intense action sequences.

Logline: Three restless youngsters accidentally end up in criminal waters due to their ICT experience. As soon as they eagerly seize this opportunity, reality begins to take unpredictable forms.

About us: We are Merel and Ruben, two filmmakers with a deep passion for cinema. Merel focuses on the story-technical aspects and direction, while Ruben specializes in film techniques, such as camera and lighting. Together we join forces to bring 'Waterval' to life: a film about young people and cybercrime, a story that has not yet been told, but that everyone should see. With this production we not only want to make an impact, but also take the next step in the film world - the place where we belong and want to develop ourselves fully.

Omschrijving
We are looking for 2 crew members
- Production Designer: Works with the director to develop the visual concept of the film. Responsible for research and props. Works with the set designer.
- Executive Producer: You are on set and support the director and DOP by keeping the filming days running.

Periode
De algemene productie zal plaatsvinden van april t/m juli, standaard op zaterdagen (plus mogelijk zondagen of uitzonderingen). Per rol verschilt uiteraard de aanwezigheid.

Functie eisen / profiel
Ervaring is fijn, maar enthousiasme, passie en inzet zijn het belangrijkst. Als je net zoals ons heel graag wil leren en groeien als filmmaker, ondanks je opleiding en achtergrond, zit je bij ons goed. Belangrijk is dat je beschikbaar bent op de afgesproken draaidagen en je kunt goed samenwerken.

Wat bieden wij?
Dit is een lowbudgetproductie, maar we bieden een inspirerende set-ervaring, reiskostenvergoeding en catering op locatie. De film is bedoeld voor filmfestivals en het opbouwen van een portfolio.
