About us:
We are a group of passionate Rotterdam makers, consisting of both young, starting and experienced professionals, who want to work together on a unique project. This project focuses on the social problems that young people in our society are confronted with, with a specific focus on drug use and its consequences.

Important notice:
This film explicitly addresses themes such as drug use and its psychological impact. This means that the Art Director will also be responsible for visualizing these aspects. Think of creating hallucinogenic experiences, the contrasts between euphoria and destruction, and the alienation from reality. In addition, you will be responsible for the overall visual world of the film, including designing and arranging sets, selecting props, creating a convincing atmosphere with color and lighting, and maintaining consistency in the artistic style. We want you to feel comfortable with this and be aware of the intensity of the subject. We understand that drug use is not an easy subject for everyone to talk about or portray. If this is sensitive or triggering for you, this may not be the right project for you.

About the film:
The film explores the complexity of the night at a techno party, where the line between freedom and seduction blurs. At first, the night feels like a place full of possibilities, where the music and energy are all-pervasive. The protagonist follows his friends, who get lost in the euphoria of the moment.

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in visual concept development (film, television or theatre):
- You have a keen sense of aesthetics and know how to combine visual elements into powerful images.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of production processes and deadlines in film productions.
- You have technical skills to bring your vision to life.
- Affinity with the theme of the film.

- Ontwikkelen en bewaken van het visuele concept en de stijl van de film
- Samenwerken met de regisseur en production designer om een sterke visuele identiteit te creëren
- Aansturen van het art team en decorbouwers
- Selecteren en ontwerpen van sets, props en visuele elementen
- Coördineren van styling, kleurenpaletten en texturen die de film versterken
