Live D&D show | Improvisatie, Theater en Spel

For a Dutch Dungeons & Dragons show we are looking for enthusiastic players. We are working on a high-quality, physically recorded production that will be released as an episode every two weeks.

We start with a pre-made campaign. In the second season we switch to our own world, which we will build together. Once the cast is complete, we want to play four sessions to see if it works for everyone. So you are not immediately tied to a longer time.

We are still looking for two players to complete our team. The plan is to meet with the entire cast by the end of May at the latest. During that meeting, we will make a concrete schedule: we will schedule the recording days and discuss all practical matters. In the weeks that follow, we will record four episodes, on which we will collect and process feedback. After the summer holidays, we will start with a fixed rhythm: a new recording and publication every two weeks.

What is Dungeons & Dragons?
Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) is a fantasy role-playing game where you and others experience a story together – full of adventure, excitement, humor and creativity. One person (the Dungeon Master) tells the story and plays the world, while the players bring their own characters to life. You make decisions, roll dice, defeat monsters, save villages (or turn them upside down) and build something unique together.

It's improvisation, theatre, strategy and friendship all in one. Every session is different, and you help determine how the story develops.

Omschrijving
- Reliability and commitment.
- A good dose of passion and enthusiasm.
- Availability to be in Alkmaar twice a month for shooting.
- Recording time: approximately 3 to 3.5 hours per time.
- No shooting during the summer and Christmas holidays.
- Age preferably between 25 and 40 years, but passion is paramount.
- Some knowledge of D&D is not required but is useful.

Periode
In eerste instantie vier sessies om te zien of het klikt en of agendas zijn af te stemmen op elkaar. Dit met als doel om langere tijd en meerdere seizoenen te kunnen opnemen.
