Vacature Producent - Film productie

Are you a driven and organized Producer with a passion for film? For our upcoming production we are looking for an experienced Producer who can lead the production process of our film in the right direction.

About us:
We are a group of passionate Rotterdam makers, consisting of both young, starting and experienced professionals, who want to work together on a unique project. This project focuses on the social problems that young people in our society are confronted with, with a specific focus on drug use and its consequences.

Important notice:
This film explicitly addresses themes such as drug use and its psychological impact. This means that the Producer must be able to deal with the sensitivities surrounding this topic and guide the production in a professional and respectful manner. If this is a sensitive or triggering topic for you, this may not be the right project for you.

About the film:
The film delves into the versatility of the night: a world that enchants and confronts at the same time. At the beginning, the night feels like a space of freedom, full of promises and temptations. The main character is carried away by his friends, who lose themselves in the euphoria of the moment. But for him, the night is also a discovery of the thin line between ecstasy and self-destruction. While his friends surrender to the night, he struggles with the question of whether he really belongs here, or whether he is an outsider in their world.

What we are looking for:

Experience as a Producer in film, television or theatre

Strong organizational and communication skills

Experience with budget management and production schedules

Ability to work under pressure and proactively solve problems

A network within the film industry is an advantage

Availability or access to financial resources to support production

Willingness to work closely with another Producer due to the size of the production

Opstellen en bewaken van de productieplanning en het budget

Coördineren van cast, crew en locaties

Onderhouden van contacten met financiers, partners en leveranciers

Zorgdragen voor financiering en het werven van fondsen voor de productie

Samenwerken met een andere Producent om de productie soepel te laten verlopen

Zorgen voor een soepele productie en oplossen van eventuele logistieke uitdagingen

Bewaken van deadlines en zorgen dat de productie binnen de gestelde kaders blijft
