This short film is part of the Oog voor Onderwijs initiative and is created in collaboration with Eva’s thesis, which explores childhood visual impairments and the importance of early detection.
The story follows a young girl in a busy classroom, struggling with a simple craft project. While her classmates cut and glue with ease, she finds herself falling behind—her lines are uneven, her glue won’t stick, and frustration builds. She doesn’t realize that her difficulty isn’t due to a lack of effort but because she simply can’t see clearly.
This moment captures the unseen struggles of many children with undiagnosed vision problems. Without realizing it, they face challenges in learning, creativity, and confidence. But with early eye testing and the right support, everything can change.
Through this film, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of recognizing these early signs. Supported by Brillenbus, this project encourages parents and educators to ensure every child gets the vision care they need.
