Gezocht: Visagist, Crime/psychologische thriller WATERVAL

For the production of the short film 'Waterval' we are looking for a passionate make-up artist. 'Waterval' is a psychological crime thriller with coming-of-age elements and is produced independently. The film explores themes such as freedom, control and the appeal of risk. The style is raw and dynamic, with a non-linear narrative and intense action sequences.

Logline: Three restless youngsters accidentally end up in criminal waters because of their IT experience. As soon as they seize this opportunity, reality takes on strange forms.


About us: We are Merel and Ruben, two filmmakers with a deep passion for cinema. Merel focuses on the story-technical aspects and direction, while Ruben specializes in film techniques, such as camera and lighting. Together we join forces to bring 'Waterval' to life: a film about young people and cybercrime, a story that has not yet been told, but that everyone should see. With this production we not only want to make an impact, but also take the next step in the film world - the place where we belong and want to develop ourselves fully.

We are looking for a make-up artist (in training), or someone with passion and eagerness to learn for make-up, preferably from the Leiden area and surroundings (20km). In this role you will do the make-up of the cast and your talents will come in handy during the action scenes. Are you someone who wants to gain more experience in (SFX) for film, then we would like to have you on our team!

Periode
Draaidagen vinden plaats op zaterdagen, met mogelijk enkele uitzonderingen, gedurende een periode van ongeveer 8 dagen. Dit zal zijn vanaf begin mei tot eind juni

Functie eisen / profiel
Ervaring is fijn, maar enthousiasme, passie en inzet zijn het belangrijkst.
Je bent beschikbaar op de afgesproken draaidagen en kunt goed samenwerken. En het allerbelangrijkst: je wil graag ervaring opdoen.

Wat bieden wij?
Dit is een lowbudgetproductie, maar we bieden een inspirerende set-ervaring, reiskostenvergoeding, kitvergoeding en catering op locatie. De film is bedoeld voor filmfestivals en het opbouwen van een portfolio.
